Katherine Kristine Vasiloff of Sarasota, Florida is a Second-Year student at the University of Virginia pursuing a double-major in English and Religion. After the conclusion of her undergraduate experience in Charlottesville, her early aspirations are to teach English and Religion in Hong Kong or Africa, although the location is secondary as she simply loves to travel and share with others what she has learned. If her present goals remain true, she hopes to return to study Law with her current sights set on becoming a Prosecuting Attorney; and there is little doubt that she will be one of the best!
Her knowledge and appreciation of the idea that learning is not restricted to a classroom, that her University was founded to be a catalyst for lifelong study and personal and professional discovery makes her a very deserved winner of our first award. She also plays a significant and integral role in the University’s Chi Alpha chapter and is a star player in one of Charlottesville's favorite coffee shops. Kate is found on Saturdays in the Fall proudly in Scott Stadium!
