Through the application of a sophisticated knowledge design and knowledge creation process, the GSEF cultivates a framework of introspection and builds a continuously-innovative 'intellectual architechure' which compels undergraduate, graduate, and professional-school students toward the development of powerful and effective synergies. These synergies are among personal interests, their intellectual skill-sets and professional aspirations and ambitions to create outcomes which are fully-enriched, self-actualized and highly altruistic. It serves as a bridge between institutional philosophies and the achievement of desired institutional outcomes.
Throughout modern history those who are most accomplished and enjoy the greatest success in their respective fields consistently share one common denominator: they were and are great managers of themselves, effective directors and engineers of their own outcomes. The essence of our methodology develops within our member-students this important ability to manage oneself, guiding them to an outcome where they can make the greatest contributions to themselves, their chosen professions and the global community. As the human mind learns and builds its knowledge base primarily through a synergy of four applications (theory, observation, intuition and emotion) our process is distinctly guided by these aspects.
The fundamental elements of this process employ our own derivation of the Socratic Method to effect a realization of institutional goals. The underlying structure is exhibited in the following outline:
I. The development of a personal mosaic
A. Critical thinking applications
1. Intellectual virtues
2. Epistemic virtues
B. Association of Ideas
C. Systematic questioning
II. Exploring personal interests and ambitions
III. Commencing an extended train of thought
IV. Recognizing a fulfillment of purpose and function
V. Achieveing mutually-desired outcomes
